Chemical Feed Integration
JCI has decades of experience with staff of application engineers, mechanics and field service technicians in the design, supply, operation and maintenance of chemical feed systems. This combination of experience in system design, equipment selection and day-to-day service issues give our staff a unique perspective on the total cost of equipment ownership.
Integration provides the owner and engineer, a single source responsibility for both new construction and retrofits for chemical feed systems. This ensures compatibility and function of the storage, metering, turndown, chemical resistance, instrumentation, control and monitoring of the system. From furnishing equipment to be installed in-situ to a complete skid or engineered building, JCI has experience to serve as your chemical feed integrator.

Liquid Metering Systems
JCI offers leading manufacturers of metering pumps with integrated controls capabilities. Chemical metering pump integrated systems sold in components or skid-mounted are designed to meet the needs of virtually any industrial or municipal liquid chemical feed application. Completely assembled systems offering accurate chemical metering with an easy installation, start-up,operation and maintenance with a “plug-and-play” approach.
Metering pumps include: hydraulically actuated, mechanically actuated, solenoid-driven, integrated dosing, gear driven, peristaltic, progressing cavity.
Dry Feed Systems
JCI offers a complete solution from wastewater pumping systems, wastewater treatment and telemetry systems to monitor pump stations and treatment plants. The wastewater treatment equipment which we recommend will depend on the level and type of treatment required to meet your NPDES permit. We can supply treatment systems which provide 50% removal rates up to 99% for re-use applications.
As the percent removal increases, so does the cost of your project, so we provide equipment to your treatment requirements. The monitoring equipment insures the lift stations and the wastewater treatment plants are coupled for a complete system.

Gas Feed Systems
JCI provides water treatment solutions for Ground Water and Surface Water plants to remove/reduce TOC and for manganese and iron removal. We provide on site systems to eliminate chlorine gas for worker and community safety by generating liquid chlorine.
We work with customers to recommend appropriate intake pumping strategies then clarification/filtration and disinfection. Chemical feed systems can be supplied as liquid or dry systems depending on your plant size and location
CO2 / Carbonic Acid Feed System
JCI provides feed systems to stabilize the pH levels of drinking water by injecting dissolved carbon dioxide into a side stream to stabilize the water.where the carbonic acid is rapidly dispersed for treatment. Carbon dioxide gas is injected into an alkaline or near neutral pH water stream. The gas reacts with the water (H2O) in the side stream of water to form carbonic acid (H2CO3). TETRApHix® pH adjustment offers an efficient carbon dioxide dosing system. Unlike other carbon dioxide dosing systems, TETRApHix®is uniquely classified by the AWWA standards as a weak acid dosing system, allowing for more optimal plant process designs with reduced contact times. Being a weak acid system, gas/water reaction basins are able to be reduced or eliminated. The use of a NanoBubble Diffuser allows for an efficiency of over 99%. Gas loss to the atmosphere as a result of degassing of the main process water is significantly reduced, lowering annual O&M cost and making this technology more environmentally friendly. It also has one of the lowest mixing contact time of all gas dosing technologies which decreases system footprints.
Polymer Preparation & Feed Systems
Polymers are injected into water and wastewater treatment to strengthen flocs to improve settling, filtering or dewatering processes. Polymer available in dry, liquid or emulsion requires an engineered system to properly activate, prepare and meter the solution.
Polymers require a combination of mixing and aging in order to achieve full activation with precise control of dosing rate, dilution level, mixing time, and applied energy. JCI furnishes systems to ensure operators, engineers, and chemical suppliers that today’s liquid and dry polymers will provide maximum performance and value.
JCI furnishes disinfection systems for potable water and wastewater providing a degree of protection from contact with pathogenic organisms. including those causing cholera, polio, typhoid, hepatitis, bacterial, viral and parasitic diseases. Disinfection systems kill or control these pathogenic organisms to safe levels.
Disinfection technologies include chorination (gas or liquid), ozonation, UV disinfection, chlorine dioxide, potassium permanganate, chloramines, “smart tank” control, advanced oxidation (ozone/hydrogen peroxide or UV/peroxide).
Popular systems include onsite sodium hypochlorite generation, bulk storage and delivery of hypochlorite and sodium bisulfite, and gas chlorination.
