Evoqua - The Aqua-Lator® surface aerator, introduced in 1963, is considered the first floating mechanical aerator for wastewater treatment applications. The powerful pumping action of the surface aerator transfers oxygen by breaking up the wastewater into a spray of particles, creating more surface area for atmospheric pressure to drive oxygen into the wastewater. At the same time, the oxygen-enriched water is dispersed and mixed, resulting in highly effective aeration for wastewater treatment. An optional accessory for Aqua-Lator Surface Aerators, is the Mist Eliminator® Spray Containment Dome providing mist and spray control for cold temperatures.
Wemco® - Screw-Flow Pump by Trillium Flow Technologies is ideal for return activated sludge (RAS) service where the pump could perform against a low total dynamic head while operating close to its best efficiency point (BEP) where bearing loads and shaft deflections are at a minimum. The screw-shaped impeller has improved clog-resistance was also required to eliminate maintenance to free the pumps from rags. The screw centrifugal pumps feature a single, spiral vane impeller with no blade edges exposed to the flow. A cutting groove cast into the liner shears off material that builds up around the impeller periphery and re-introduces it into the flow. The screw-centrifugal design provides clog-resistant pumping for trouble free movement of solids, and fibrous and stringy materials. The steep head-capacity curve produced by the impeller provides additional head to help push through any partial blockages.
Evoqua: Envirex Coarse Bubble Diffusers are used in aerobic digesters or sludge holding tanks and offer the advantage of sealing the piping system when the air is turned off. Wideband™ coarse bubble diffusers can be used in a variety of aeration and mixing applications. Diffusers and piping are available in 304L or 316L stainless steel. SnapCap™ coarse bubble diffusers consist of an EPDM diaphragm that seals the piping system when air is turned off and can be used PVC or stainless steel piping. Park Process - manufacturers dewatering containers, with a porous bottom to dewater sludge, grit or other fluid. The dewatered portion is collected to a drain. The false bottom can be permanent with stainless steel wedge bottom of various openings or with a disposable needle punched polypropylene geotextile filter. The most common type of dewatering container is based on a roll-off box design, although any type of container that is water tight can be made into a dewatering box. This includes containers that are commonly referred to as self-dumping hoppers and front loaders. ClearStream Gasholder Cover - Radial Beam or Truss for a primary or secondary digester that allows for varying volumes of gas storage. Also allows varying levels of sludge as compared to the fixed digester cover and prevents a large scum blanket. The slide guides are low maintenance compared to rolling guides. This cover does not require external insulation because there is several feet of gas storage between the roof and the sludge for thermal insulation.
ClearStream- Buoyant Floating Truss Digester Cover is a primary digester cover preventing a large scum blanket since the cover is in direct contact with the sludge to reduce liquid area exposed. This cover is most effective when sludge levels vary significantly and in conditions where extreme foam occurs. The ballast blocks are located in the attic space where the attic space acts as natural thermal insulation.
ClearStream- Fixed Digester Cover - Radial Beam is economical primary digester cover with small liquid level variation and can also be used as a secondary digester when gas can be stored through other means. The fixed digester has a limited gas storage capacity. Designs incorporate a water launder or a seal to overcome liquid level variation limitations. The annular seal achieves a pressure seal utilizing sidesheets submerged in the sludge and contains odors.

Evoqua - Dystor® system uses a dome-shaped, engineered membrane system to store biogas, and prevent odors. The Dystor system’s outer membrane remains inflated in a fixed position. The inner membrane moves freely as it stores or releases biogas generated from the anaerobic digestion process. Borger Rotary Lobe Pumps are positive displacement pump transferring sludge to and from thickeners, belt presses, centrifuges, rotary presses, digesters , air entrained fluids, DAF, and industrial slurries. They handle thick solids greater than 2% up to 2000 gpm and pressures up t0 150 PSI. Rotary lobe pumps can run dry and are capable of self-priming. Andritz - Belt Drying System - provides highly desired Class A Biosolids in a highly marketable sludge pellet / granule. The process granulates the dewatered sludge in a mixer with product that has already been dried. The moist granulate produced here is distributed evenly over the belt in the dryer by a specially designed feed module. The even layer of material on the belt creates optimum conditions for even distribution of the drying air. This, in turn, is necessary for even heating and drying of the sewage sludge. The layer of material on the belt forms a
filter medium for the air flowing onto the granulate layer from above and thus prevents entrainment of dust. The low temperature of the drying gases (< 150°C) and the low dust content in the system facilitate safe operation. The dried material is not exposed to mechanical stress during drying and is pre-cooled before the dryer discharge. The technology - simple, convincing, and successful.
