Tube Settler System

Brentwood - Tube Settler System can be used in both drinking water and wastewater applications as an inexpensive method of upgrading new and existing treatment plant clarifiers and sedimentation basins to improve performance and reduce the solids loading on downstream filters. Additional applications include: ballasted flocculation, membrane and desalination pretreatment, resin recovery, secondary and tertiary wastewater clarification, and phosphorous removal. Tube settlers handle application rates from 1.5 to 4.5 gallons per minute per square foot. Design application rates should be verified in accordance with local design standards and selected with consideration of influent water chemistry, floc settleability, and basin hydraulics.

Rectangular Clarifier – Envirex® Chain & Scraper

Evoqua - Rectangular Clarifier - Envirex® Chain & Scraper system provides maximum sludge concentrations and floating solid removal. The system is comprised of light-weight components, which makes installation easy and simplifies maintenance.  Flights mounted on two parallel strands of metallic or non-metallic chain scrape the settled solids along the tank floor to sludge hoppers. On the return run, the flights can skim the surface and concentrate the floating material at a scum removal device.

Sludge Removal System – Chain & Flight collector

Polychem - Chain & Flight Collector system removes bottom sludge and transfers it to a sludge hopper at the influent end of the clarifier while also skimming out floating surface scum and discharging it via a scum pipe.

Parallel Plates & Sludge Removal Systems

AWC Water Solutions treatment plants based on the plate settlers. These plants use proven technologies to produce clear, safe drinking water from low quality sources. Capable of purifying the most difficult types of raw water, our ST plants are particularly suited for surface waters with high and variable contaminant and excel in treating cold water and very high levels of turbidity, iron and manganese.

Each train can treat capacities up to 1600 gpm per train (multiple trains can be combined for higher flows) and reliably achieve less than 0.1 NTU turbidity and 2.5-log, multi-barrier protection against Giardia and Cryptosporidium.

Solids Contact Clarifiers – ClearStream

DBS Manufacturing Bridge or Pier-Mounted dual concentric drum output drive unit provides reliability and performance with two independent drive units are stacked concentrically together to drive a rake mechanism and a turbine.

Dual concentric drum output drive units are typically used on solids contact and flocculating clarifiers or softeners.

RO – Reverse Osmosis & UF/MF – H20 Innovation

H2O Innovation - Reverse Osmosis for removal of nitrates, dissolved organics, dissolved organics, sulfate, uranium and hardness. RO uses a semi-permeable membrane to separate and remove dissolved solids, organics, pyrogens, submicron collodial matter, viruses, and bacteria from water. The process is called "Reverse" Osmosis since it requires pressure to force pure water across a membrane, leaving the impurities behind. Reverse Osmosis is capable of removing 95 - 99% of the total dissolved solids (TDS) and 99% of all bacteria, thus providing safe, pure water. Applications include surface water, ground water (under influence) and water reuse.

H2O Innovation has been involved in supplying nanofiltration (NF) and reverse osmosis (RO) systems for municipal and industrial applications since the 1990s/ NF/RO applications are used to remove unwanted salts and contaminants from a feed water stream. It is commonly used in drinking water, water reuse and desalination applications. Systems are designed to achieve removal of TDS, TOC, alkalinity,  sodium, chloride,  phosphate, iron, manganese, arsenic, boron and other salts or contaminants based on membrane projections which simulate the rejection of these contaminants by the NF/RO membrane.

Ballasted Clarification – CoMag for Enhanced Primary or Tertiary

Evoqua - CoMag is a high rate clarification process utilizing internal recycling of settled solids and small amount of Magnetite (non-abrasive, high specific gravity) for floc formation to allow for less chemical use and  footprints up to 20x smaller than conventional clarification. The CoMag System easily integrates with planned or existing facilities to allow the use of existing clarifiers of any size or type. Applications included treating wet weather flows, phosphorus removal and water re-use.
